Maude

Maude is a family owned wine company, created by the experienced winemakers Sarah-Kate and Dan Dineen. The family estate vineyard, Mount Maude was first planted in 1994, this is located in the Maungawera Valley which lies between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea in Central Otago. The Mount Maude Vineyard was originally planted and owned by Sarah-Kate’s parents, Dawn and Dr Terry Wilson. After the family vineyard was acquired, both Sarah-Kate and Dan drew on their combined experience of wine making in both Australia and Europe. Hence, it has been no surprise to the wine industry insiders, that their wine, Maude has become a success! This family is very passionate about understanding and producing world class wine.

Including the Mount Maude Vineyard, Maude currently also has vineyards located in the Lowburn and Queensbury areas. Together, these vineyards produce a range of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, more recently Pinot Gris has also joined these ranks. Maude has already caught the attention of magazines such as Cuisine and Dish, along with Australian wine expert, James Halliday.
