Leveret Estate Wines

Leveret Estate is part of The Wine Portfolio, owned by John Coney, and is operated as an independent, family-owned company. The heart of this business is located in Katikati, just outside of Tauranga. The Wine Portfolio first established Morton Estate in 1995. Over the years, Morton Estate has had great success in the international world of wine, winning multiple awards and many international challenges. In 1999, and again in 2001,  Morton Estate was invited to pour at the prestigious New York wine experience. 

In 2014, the Morton Estate label was sold and the winery was rebranded as Leveret Estate Winery. Currently Leveret Estate has two ranges, the ‘Premium’ and ‘Reserve’. They produce premium “Méthode Traditionnelle” sparkling wine, as well as red, white and Rosé wines. In 2020, Mills Reef Winery was added to the portfolio and the company was renamed Leveret & Mills Reef winery.
