A superbly balanced Bordeaux-style blend, with ripe fruit and tannins, helped by the heat-reflective ‘river-gravel’ soils deposited from the Ngaruroro River.

Blackberry and dark cherry are complemented with aromas and flavours of tobacco and cedar and you could drink now, but this would also stand up well to age for more than a decade in the cellar.
