Who makes it
Robyn and Nick Jones established Mudbrick in 1992 and added the Shepherds Point site in 1998. Mudbrick's vines grow across four Waiheke Island sites: Mudbrick, Hawke's Crest at the western end, Shepherds Point, and Sea View Road, where Mudbrick's winery is based in Onetangi.
Hand harvesting is the norm for all of Mudbrick's fruit. In the vineyard each vine is pruned according to how it performs, shoots are tucked by hand, and leaves are removed by hand around the fruit.
