Fromm Winery

Swiss winemakers Georg Fromm and Hätsch Kalberer established the FROMM winery in early 1992. Since then, FROMM winery has built an international reputation by producing an array of outstanding wines that reflect both European style and Kiwi ingenuity. After Georg left New Zealand in 2008 to focus on his family winery in Switzerland, new owner Pol Lenzinger and Stephan Walliser with winemaker Hätsch, have continued the passion for wine at FROMM. 

Initially, the Fromm vineyard in Marlborough was planted with a mixture of red varieties, now over time they have expanded to include Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Gris. Each of their current four vineyards produce unique characteristics, this reflects well in each wine style produced.

We carefully regulate crop size, follow organic principles and are committed to sustainable viticulture.”
