Decibel Wines

Decibel Wines is the vision of American-born winemaker Daniel Brennan, who works with some of Hawke’s Bay and Martinborough’s top wine growers. After tasting Martinborough Pinot Noir back at his family restaurant in Philadelphia, it inspired Daniel to move to New Zealand and study winemaking. Decibel Wines focus on single vineyard wines such as Gimblett Gravels Malbec, Martinborough Pinot Noir, Crownthorpe Sauvignon Blanc and Bridge Pa Triangle Viognier. 

Along with Decibel Wines, Daniel has also created two other labels, Testify and Giunta. Daniel states that the Testify range is his best effort from vintages worthy, currently this includes Chardonnay, red blend and Pinot Noir styles. While the Giunta series are styled to be young and fresh, typically sold straight to restaurants. While this range only has four wines, there are plans to expand in the near future.
