William Murdoch Wines

William Murdoch is a small family-owned and operated vineyard in Hawkes Bay. The vineyard was established in 2007 and completed its first vintage in 2009. The vineyard is operated under organic principals and has achieved BIOGRO NZ certification.

The vineyard is 15 hectares and the winemaker is Jenny Dobson. Varietals grown include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, and Malbec. Their philosophy is simple: to produce beautiful, handcrafted wines of distinction that reflect terroir.
